ADB approved $21.72 billion in financing operations last year, a 14.5% increase on ADB’s previous year’s financing, according to its 2011 Annual Report, released ahead of the organization’s 45th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors, to be held from 2 to 5 May in Manila, Philippines.

ADB Expects Pacific Growth and Inflation to Moderate in 2012
Economic growth in the Pacific region is expected to slow to 6.0% in 2012 from 7.0% in 2011, according to the latest Pacific Economic Monitor released today by ADB. The slowdown is driven by lower growth in large resource-exporting economies that dominate regional growth.
