Description
This paper presents an action plan to support the effective implementation of the 2004 Disaster and Emergency Assistance Policy (DEAP) of the Asian Development Bank. The action plan is consistent with Strategy 2020: The Long-Term Strategic Framework of the Asian Development Bank 2008–2020, which calls for mainstreaming disaster risk management and providing early and medium-term disaster response and assistance in partnership with selected aid agencies.
