A leaflet on the opportunities offered to talented individuals from ADB’s developing member countries to pursue postgraduate studies through a scholarship program which commenced in 1988 with funding from the Government of Japan; comes with an information sheet to be sent to the institution one is applying to. The ADB-Japan Scholarship Program was established in 1988 to provide opportunities for talented individuals from the Bank's DMCs to pursue postgraduate studies in selected institutions in the Asian and Pacific region. The Program is funded by the Government of Japan and administered by the Bank. The Program enrolls about 200 students annually in 16 institutions throughout the region. The scholarships, for periods of one to three years, cover studies in economics, management, science and technology, and other development-related fields.
