Description
This memorandum presents for the Board of Directors' consideration the proposed Budget of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for 2013.
The proposed budget of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for 2013 will provide adequate funding to implement the objectives of Strategy 2020, including increasing emphasis on achieving inclusive growth, environmentally sustainable growth, and regional integration in its developing member countries. This includes investments in infrastructure, education, and essential public services such as water and sanitation, financial inclusion, health, and social protection. The budget will also help expand ADB‘s knowledge services.
