South Australia is at the forefront of technology developments in the water management industry. It is well positioned to access and service the markets in the Asia Pacific Region.
The Water Industry Alliance of South Australia - a network of international water companies, national firms, and well established local companies - provides the springboard to the Asia Pacific markets serving as a regional platform for the water industry. Members of the alliance offer cutting-edge technology and extensive manufacturing expertise in the production of equipment required by the water industry. Their experiences in research and development, consultancy, engineering, technology, manufacturing, education, operations, and commercial know-how give practical, efficient and cost effective solutions, processes and equipment required by global markets.
The exposure visit featured best practices in wastewater and water reuse schemes, and showcase successful modalities and the benefits of public-private partnerships for the Asian Development Bank's developing member countries (DMCs).
