Session 5: Large-scale Deployment of Efficient Technologies: CFLs

Compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) are the low-hanging fruit of energy efficiency. This session will provide an update on efforts being taken to scale up CFL financing by The World Bank and ADB, highlight the Philippines phase-out of inefficient lamps, and showcase a new industry-led, regional quality standard for CFLs.
