This workshop aims to explain Asian Development Fund (ADF) grant policy and recent revisions to the Performance-Based Allocation (PBA) policy.
Top
The workshop will be in collaboration with the International Development Association (IDA) and will be conducted by the ADB and World Bank staff. The presentations will cover the refinements to the PBA system. These are:
- enhancing the allocations to the poorest countries,
- improving the measure of portfolio performance,
- meeting the special needs of Pacific island countries,
- implementing the post conflict phase out, and
- reinforcing the country ownership of subregional projects.
It will also cover the revisions to the grant framework which is substantially aligned with IDA

- Policy and institutional assessment under Country Performance Assessment (CPA)
- Case studies on performance assessment and rating
- Weighting performance and needs, special considerations and resource and pipeline management under PBA
- Debt Sustainability Analysis (DSA) and grant/loan mix allocation under PBA
