Lao People’s Democratic Republic: Country Operations Business Plan (2013-2015)
| Date: | December 2012 |
| Type: | Country Planning Documents |
| Country: | Lao People's Democratic Republic |
| Subject: | ADB administration and governance; Economics; Poverty |
| Series: | Country Operations Business Plans |
Description
The country operations business plan (COBP), 2013–2015 for the Lao People's Democratic Republic (Lao PDR) updates the COBP 2012–2014, which was formulated as part of the country partnership strategy (CPS), 2012–2016 for the Lao PDR. The COBP continues to support the priorities in the CPS of inclusive and sustainable growth and poverty reduction through four priority sectors (agriculture and natural resources; education; energy; and water supply and sanitation, and other municipal services) and through more effective public sector management as a crosscutting concern. The CPS 2012–2016 is aligned with the government’s Seventh National Socio-Economic Development Plan, 2011–2015.
