Description
This letter of intent between the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) of the Unites States of America provides the formal mechanism for cooperation on activities that help promote human health and the environment in Asia. ADB and EPA intend to explore all possibilities for effective collaboration with respect to environment, sustainable development, and natural resources management, including cooperation on improving air quality management, building strong environmental institutions and legal structures, management of toxic substances, and water resource management, among others.
