Description
This report contains details of OAGI's activities for 2006. It includes statistical summaries and summaries of significant fraud and corruption cases that OAGI screened and investigated during the year. In 2006, OAGI received 171 complaints, compared to 199 received in 2005. After screening, OAGI opened 108 investigations and closed 81 complaints after concluding further investigation was not warranted. As of 31 December 2006, OAGI was still screening 33 complaints received in 2006.
