II. Trade in Financial Services

The framework for foreign participation in national financial services is subject to bilateral, regional, and international negotiations, with the latter concentrated in the WTO process through the GATS. The toolkit will also discuss the ASEAN Framework Agreement on Services as an example of a regional framework in financial services.
