Institutional Document | February 2014

The country operations business plan (COBP) for Pakistan for 2014-2016 describes the consistency of the business plan with the country partnership strategy (CPS), 2009-2013 and ADB's Strategy 2020.

The country operations business plan (COBP), 2014-2016 for Pakistan functions as a bridge between the country partnership strategy (CPS), 2009-2013 and the new CPS (2014-2018). Its focus on infrastructure and related reforms is in line with the priorities of the CPS, 2009-2013 as well as ADB's Strategy 2020. The priorities of the COBP are also in line with the intentions of the new government, as expressed through the budget approved in June 2013 and the agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) approved in September 2013, as well as the preliminary directions for the forthcoming CPS.
