Welcome to this first issue of the new, electronic ADB Review. In this inaugural issue, we bring you the latest economic forecasts for Asia, the latest on the ADF X replenishment, highlights of the recent Aid for Trade conference in Manila, the ongoing consultations on ADB’s longterm strategic framework, and much more.

ADB Review, now a Web-based newsletter, will be brought to you every month. It will help keep you abreast of events at ADB.

It will encapsulate the month’s news about the latest projects, events, issues, and policies of ADB. It will also preview upcoming events. ADB’s expertise will be showcased through staffwritten articles and highlights of ADB’s research.

This new-look ADB Review replaces the printed magazine that was published for nearly 40 years. It continues the tradition of providing a digest of ADB news and activities, but in a more accessible format. It is geared for readers both inside and outside of ADB. In short, it should be required reading for anyone, anywhere, who is interested in ADB.
