Description

This sector synthesis report consolidates and presents up-to-date key evaluation findings and lessons in the irrigation and drainage sector supported by ADB across its developing member countries to inform future project preparation and implementation. This report identifies key factors affecting project performance, and highlights the major issues and lessons that are useful to the operation of ongoing and formulation of future projects and/or programs in the sector. This is the second such report in the sector, and it builds on the findings of the May 1995 sector synthesis report.
