Description
Since establishment of the Asian Tsunami Fund (ATF) in February 2005 and in accordance with approved administration arrangements, progress reports on the activities financed by the ATF, as well as major issues and recommendations, were made available to the contributors and ADB Board of Directors for information in October 2005 (covering the period from February to 31 August 2005), in December 2005 (marking the first anniversary of the tsunami), and in August 2006 (covering the period from January to June 2006). This report is the fourth semiannual report covering the period from July to December 2006. Only essential contextual information from earlier status reports has been repeated here.
