The Pakistan Sector Assessment Review provides an overview of ADB’s operations in Pakistan since lending to the Government of Pakistan began in 1968, with a focus on the nature of ADB’s operations over the last five years. It

• highlights ADB’s operational coverage of priority areas
• provides an insight on the policy and institutional framework supporting development activities in each sector
• reflects the priorities of ADB’s Country Strategy and Program (CSP) 2002-2006 for Pakistan approved in May 2002

In addition to the traditional sectors of ADB operation such as infrastructure and social development, it also assesses ADB’s operations in the area of Governance.
