Gender Action PlansAs outlined in the ADB Operational Procedures on Gender and Development [ PDF: 71kb | 11 pages ], the gender action plan (GAP) is a tool to pull all elements for mainstreaming gender together in an ADB project. It identifies strategies, mechanisms and/or project components, and budget provisions for addressing gender concerns, and reports on how women are to be involved in the design, implementation and monitoring process.
