ADB Hosts Poverty and Environment Meeting
MANILA, PHILIPPINES - The Asian Development Bank (ADB) this week is hosting the 13th meeting of the Poverty and Environment Partnership, a network of multilateral and bilateral development agencies as well as non-governmental and academic organizations aimed at increasing the effectiveness of development finance in reducing poverty and safeguarding the environment. About 80 poverty and environment experts from various international development agencies and non-governmental organizations are attending the meeting from June 9-11 at ADB’s headquarters in Manila.
