Action Plan on Managing for Development Results
MfDR is a management approach to improve planning, monitoring, and evaluating
operations in order to achieve and sustain intended development results. MfDR
aims to help managers answer three key questions, namely:
- are we being effective?
- how do we know we are?
- how do we use this information to determine future action?
ADB is helping its developing member countries (DMCs) increase their understanding
and use of MfDR. More |
ADB is strengthening its own capacity to manage for development results.

It is not only important to align ADB's efforts with the approaches of its
developing member countries, but also to harmonize with the individual and
collective efforts of donors. More |
