Mr. Davis served more than 30 years at the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID), which he led as Director General for 10 years spanning 1999-2009. As Director General, he was responsible for the planning and delivery of the Australian government’s development assistance program. During his time with AusAID, Mr. Davis helped guide the agency’s aid policy and management reform and budget and related effectiveness and accountability issues. He also led high-level consultations with multilateral institutions and bilateral donors.
He is currently the Australian Ambassador to Ireland.
