Bangladesh – Disaster Risk Finance Technical Assistance

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved the following technical assistance project:
Description:
The project will design a disaster risk financing strategy to help the Government, in tandem with the private sector, respond more quickly and effectively to natural disasters, which in turn will help save lives and reduce economic losses.
Amount: $500,000 grant from Japan Fund for Poverty Reduction, administered by ADB.
