Bhutan – Third Living Standards Survey Technical Assistance

The Asian Development Bank has approved the following technical assistance:
Description:
The project will fund Bhutan’s third living standards survey which provides crucial household economic information to enable the government to monitor its five-year plan and to government agencies, including the Gross National Happiness Commission. The data allows the government to accurately assess current poverty levels across the country and plan policies for development.
Amount: $300,000 grant from the Technical Assistance Special Fund.
