Cambodia: Grant to Emergency Food Assistance Project

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved the following grant administration:
Description:
Building on previous implementation experiences, the grant will expand the scope and geographic coverage of the Emergency Food Assistance Project to address structural problems related to food insecurity by improving access to quality seeds and fertilizers; upgrading rural road and irrigation canals to increase agricultural production and market access; initiating nutrition and diversified livelihood activities; and increasing resilience of the poor and vulnerable to natural calamities in 10 target provinces.
Amount: $24.5 million on a grant basis from the Global Agriculture and Food Security Program, administered by ADB.
