Central Asia – Enhancing CAREC Program Technical Assistance

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved the following technical assistance project:
Description:
The assistance will strengthen national and regional bodies in Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Program to improve the delivery of program goals, including transport connectivity to expand trade and increase competitiveness, smoother cross-border movement of people and goods at least cost, closer energy cooperation, and the development of economic corridors.
Amount: $3 million equivalent grant from ADB’s Technical Assistance Special Fund resources.
