Improving Agricultural and Rural Statistics for Food Security

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved the following technical assistance:
Description:
The project will support the development of regional and country action plans to arrest the declining availability of agricultural and rural statistics that are needed for formulating and monitoring policies on food security. In collaboration with selected countries' statistical offices, methodological research will also be conducted to improve data collection and analytical methods.
Amount: $500,000 grant from ADB’s Technical Assistance Special Fund.
