Kiribati – Public Financial Management Technical Assistance

14 December 2011 - The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved the following technical assistance:

Description:

The project will support the Government of Kiribati’s plan to overhaul public financial management. Funds will be used to provide training and other capacity building support to help the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development strengthen its management of public finances. Inappropriate allocation of state revenues undermines the country’s growth prospects.

Amount: $800,000 equivalent grant from ADB’s Technical Assistance Special Fund.
