Lao PDR: Governance and Capacity Development in Public Sector Management

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved the following loan, grant and technical assistance:
Description:
This project will improve delivery of key basic services through greater budget allocation, efficient expenditure management, and decentralized service delivery. By 2016, the project will build capacities of civil servants in planning and budgeting, including developing policy options for intergovernmental fiscal transfers, particularly, by developing a public-private partnership framework.
Amount: $16 million in loans, grants and assistance from the Asian Development Fund
