Maldives: Economic Recovery Program (Second Tranche)

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) approved the release of the second tranche of the Economic Recovery Program (Maldives).
Description:
This loan supports macroeconomic and fiscal development in the Maldives. The first tranche was released in 2010. The focus of the second tranche continues to be on improved public financial management including outcome orientation of the budget and better tax effort, deepening of the trading in the treasury bills market, improved internal audit, and privatization of state-owned enterprises.
