Nepal – Decentralized Rural Infrastructure and Livelihood Project

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved additional financing for the Decentralized Rural Infrastructure and Livelihood Project:
Description:
The project aims to improve rural transport connectivity and community infrastructure, and improve the livelihoods of rural communities in 18 poor hill and mountain districts of Nepal
Amount: Additional financing comprises an $18 million loan and $7 million grant, both from ADB’s Asian Development Fund. Cofinancing includes a $20 million loan from the OPEC Fund for International Development, to be partially administered by ADB, and a $7.1 million grant from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
