Nepal – Energy Sector Project Preparatory Grant

24 September 2013 - The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved the following grant facility for project preparation:

Description:

The grant will help lay the groundwork for hydropower and transmission projects needed to reduce local power shortages and to provide surplus electricity for potential export to neighboring India.

Amount: $21 million grant from ADB’s concessional Asian Development Fund.
