Nepal – Mainstreaming Climate Change Risk Management Technical Assistance

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved the following capacity development technical assistance:
Description:
The project will help the Government incorporate climate adaptation planning and safeguards in its infrastructure development projects including irrigation, flood protection, roads, water supply, sanitation and urban development. The technical assistance is one of five components of the Government's Strategic Program for Climate Resilience.
Amount: $7.1 million equivalent grant from the Strategic Climate Fund, which will be administered by ADB.
