Pacific region: Technical Assistance for Enhancing ADB’s Engagement in Fragile and Conflict-Affected States
29 March 2012 -
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved the following technical assistance:
Description:
This technical assistance aims to help ADB’s fragile and conflict-affected developing member countries build effective institutions that will support peace-building and state-building efforts by further developing and refining fragility assessment tools, and by mapping political economy in selected countries. This will, in turn, help formulate country-specific capacity development plans. Using differentiated country-led models of engagement will help ADB better support countries as they transition out of fragility.
Amount: $800,000 equivalent grant from ADB’s Technical Assistance Special Fund (TASF-IV).
