Papua New Guinea – Bridge Replacement Project Loan

The Asian Development Bank has approved the following project:
Description:
The project will build permanent two-lane bridges on priority national roads, and shift temporary steel bridges to remote rural areas to improve connectivity and access to markets and social services, benefiting an estimated 400,000 people.
Amount: $50 million equivalent from the Asian Development Fund, $40 million from ordinary capital resources and an $800,000 grant from the Technical Assistance Special Fund
