PRC – Guangdong Sustainable Development Technical Assistance

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved the following technical assistance for Guangdong Province in the People’s Republic of China (PRC):
Description:
The project will finance a detailed report on improving the environment in rural areas and small cities in Guangdong province, including energy efficiency and pollution control. The province has the biggest population and largest economy in the PRC and environmental degradation poses a major challenge to its future sustainable development.
Amount: $400,000 grant from ADB’s Technical Assistance Special Fund.
