PRC – Hai River Estuary Area Pollution Control and Ecosystem Rehabilitation Project Loan

The Asian Development Bank has approved the following project:
Description:
The project will fund wastewater collection and treatment, water conservation, ecosystem rehabilitation, and disaster prevention and emergency response measures for the Hai River estuary area in Tianjin municipality. It will support the Tianjin municipal government’s push to make the estuary and surrounding areas a center for green growth and recycling activities.
Amount: $100 million from ADB’s ordinary capital resources. $149.12 million in counterpart finance from government bonds, local corporate entities, and a commercial bank.
