Sri Lanka – Additional Financing for National Highways Sector Project

5 August 2011 - The Asian Development Bank has approved the following project:

Description:

The funds will expand the ongoing project by upgrading link roads to the Southern Highway―the country’s first controlled-access expressway. The outcome will be faster, cheaper travel and increased access to economic opportunities and social services for southwestern communities.

Amount: $85 million from ADB’s Ordinary Capital Resources.
