Viet Nam – Highway Road Safety, Climate Proofing Technical Assistance

27 October 2011 - The Asian Development Bank has approved the following technical assistance:

Description:

The assistance will lay the groundwork for a project to upgrade 180 kilometers of National Highway 1 running through the provinces of Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan to make the road safer and more climate-resilient in the face of floods and other extreme weather events.

Amount: $1.5 million equivalent grant from the Japan Fund for Poverty Reduction, administered by ADB.
