Viet Nam – Urban Environmental Improvement Technical Assistance

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved the following technical assistance:
Description:
Less than 10% of wastewater in the country’s fast growing cities is disposed of safely. The funds will help government agencies to implement large scale urban wastewater treatment facilities to improve public health and preserve fast dwindling freshwater stocks.
Amount: $2 million equivalent grant from the Japan Fund for Poverty Reduction to be administered by ADB.
