2nd Steering Committee Meeting on the Economics of Climate Change and Low Carbon Growth Strategies in Northeast Asia
Background
This 2nd SC meeting will report on the preliminary findings of the TA on how Northeast Asian countries are affected by climate change; how participating countries are adapting and what adaptation measures are practiced; what mitigation options are practiced or available for these countries to be able to contribute to GHG reductions; what policies and measures these countries have formulated in response to climate change; and what possible improvements could be undertaken.
Objectives
The meeting aims to obtain feedback from the steering committee members on the preliminary findings of the study.
