ADB-UNICEF MoU Review Meeting
Background
ADB and UNICEF signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 23 September 2010, to collaborate across Asia and the Pacific to reduce poverty, and ensure that equitable and sustainable development benefits all children. It was agreed that ADB-UNICEF cooperation for 2010−2015 would focus on: (i) policy dialogue and consultation; (ii) operational cooperation; (iii) joint development of knowledge products; (iv) information sharing; and (v) staff cooperation.
Objectives
The ADB-UNICEF MoU will be reviewed, focusing on:
- current joint activities to identify new opportunities for collaboration,
- setting priorities and a joint work program for the next two years.
