ASEAN 2030: Invitation to Comment
We are seeking the help of scholars, experts, and other stakeholders in finalizing the study ASEAN 2030: Toward a Borderless Economic Community led by the ADB Institute, in collaboration with the ASEAN Secretariat and several ADB departments.
The study examines the development of ASEAN economies beyond 2015 and identifies key challenges, assesses the main opportunities and risks, and offers policy options for ASEAN countries, and the region as a whole. The highlights volume identifies the structural changes countries need to carry out, individually and as a group, to fulfill their 2030 aspirations to become a resilient, inclusive, competitive, harmonious region—a RICH ASEAN—by 2030.
For download and comment are the Draft Synopsis, Draft Executive Summary, and Draft Highlights. Suggestions to improve the study's approach, structure, findings, and policy options are welcome.
ADBI will receive comments and feedback during the month of April 2012, after which the study will be finalized during the period of May-August 2012.
