Capitol Hill Forum: Asian Development Outlook

Description

While developing Asia has made huge strides in reducing poverty, the last two decades have seen income inequality widening, driven by the same forces of globalization, technological progress, and market-oriented reform that accelerated the region’s rapid growth. In response, the region’s citizens are calling on their governments to play a more active role in bringing about a fairer society, one that provides opportunities for all and distributes the fruits of growth widely.

ADB Vice-President Stephen P. Groff will present findings of the 2014 Asian Development Outlook’s (ADO) flagship report, Asian Development Outlook 2014, at the Capitol Hill Forum.
