Global launch of the the MDG 2012/13 report, "The Post 2015 Development Agenda in Asia and the Pacific: Regional Perspectives"
Background
ADB, along with ESCAP and UNDP is preparing a regional report focusing on developing and presenting the Asia-Pacific regional view on the post-2015 development agenda, including regional views on the global effort to prepare the Sustainable Development Goals as agreed at the Rio+20 summit in June 2012. The report is part of the ADB-ESCAP-UNDP regional partnership’s annual report series on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in Asia and the Pacific and targeted for finalization in early 2013. The objectives of the Asia-Pacific MDG Report 2012/13 is to share research, analysis, and key lessons learnt from the Asia-Pacific experience on the MDGs, and provide the Asia-Pacific view on the appropriate post-2015 development framework.
