Background

This second national workshop will report on the preliminary findings of the TA on how Mongolia is affected by climate change; how the country is adapting and what adaptation measures are practiced; what mitigation options are practiced or available to be able to contribute to GHG reductions; what policies and measures have been formulated in response to climate change; and what possible improvements could be undertaken.

Objectives

The workshop aims to present and discuss:

• Current findings and projections on climate change impacts, vulnerabilities, adaptation and mitigation potentials in Mongolia; and
• Policies and measures in Mongolia.
