Mongolia's 2nd National Workshop on the Economics of Climate Change and Low Carbon Growth Strategies in Northeast Asia
Background
This second national workshop will report on the preliminary findings of the TA on how Mongolia is affected by climate change; how the country is adapting and what adaptation measures are practiced; what mitigation options are practiced or available to be able to contribute to GHG reductions; what policies and measures have been formulated in response to climate change; and what possible improvements could be undertaken.
Objectives
The workshop aims to present and discuss:
- Current findings and projections on climate change impacts, vulnerabilities, adaptation and mitigation potentials in Mongolia; and
- Policies and measures in Mongolia.
