Promoting Climate Change Adaptation in Asia and the Pacific (RETA 6420) Culminating Workshop
Purpose / Background
In conjunction with the Second Asia Pacific Adaptation Forum on 12-13 March in Bangkok ADB is organizing a half-day culminating workshop on ADB's regional technical assistance, Promoting Climate Change Adaptation in Asia and the Pacific (RETA 6420).
Objectives
The workshop will be conducted to share and disseminate experiences and lessons learned under the RETA on how to integrate climate change adaptation in development plans, programs and projects.
The program has two main work sessions: 1) short presentations from ADB Project Officers or implementing agencies on the status, outcomes and lessons learned from the small-grant activities on adaptation implemented under the RETA, and 2) a broader overview of ADB's technical and knowledge resources, products and activities with respect to adaptation, and ongoing priorities for filling knowledge gaps to support expanded adaptation efforts.
