Regional Conference on Community-Driven Development
Purpose / Background

The Conference aims to (a) discuss and distill the lessons learned for informing the design and implementation of Community-Driven Development (CDD) programs, including CDD scale-up; and (ii) launch the CDD learning network.
Objectives
At the end of the workshop, participants will have:
- understood better the benefits and importance of applying CDD approach to local service delivery;
- learned lessons from CDD studies conducted in Indonesia, Philippines, People's Republic of China (PRC), and Republic of Korea;
- understood the elements, principles, issues, and lessons learned from global experiences in scaling up CDD;
- identified opportunities and options for scaling up CDD in their respective countries; and
- participated in the CDD learning network.
