Regional Conference on the Use of Procurement Agents in Public Procurement
Purpose
This seminar will provide a venue for ADB's developing member countries (DMCs) to share their experiences and approaches on the use of procurement agents, and to discuss related issues, such as governance, integrity and capacity development.
Objectives
At the end of the workshop, participants will have:
- an understanding of the policy, institutional and regulatory framework on the use of procurement agents in public procurement,
- identified operational and administrative issues concerning the use of procurement agents, and
- knowledge of international practices and the suitability of using the procurement agent system in developing member countries.
Expected Output
A knowledge product on the use of procurement agents in public procurement by ADB’s developing member countries.
