Shaping the Future of the Asia and the Pacific–Latin America and the Caribbean Relationship
ADB institute, ADB, and IDB launched Shaping the Future of the Asia and the Pacific–Latin America and the Caribbean Relationship during the 45th ADB Annual Meeting in Manila in May.
The book argues that, while market forces have propelled the rise in trade and investment and the strengthening of economic bonds between two of the fastest growing regions in the world, the role of governments will be decisive in deepening this integration and in balancing the three pillars of trade, investment, and cooperation.
