Living with the Pyanj River: Flood Mitigation in Tajikistan
Melting glaciers have caused massive and destructive flooding in the Pyanj river valley, Tajikistan. ADB projects are helping to build infrastructure to mitigate and predict floods, as well as provide first aid skills to people so they can protect themselves.
