Republic of Korea

Republic of Korea: Third Sector Overview defines the third sector organizations in South Korea that existed for more than 100 years. The site is maintained by the Asia Pacific Philanthropy Consortium an informal network of organizations dedicated to promoting the flow and effectiveness of philanthropy in the region.

 

The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) offers a virtual conference that features an overview of NGOs and particularly its relationship with the Ministry of Environment in the Republic of Korea. ESCAP works to integrate environmental considerations into economic policy making processes.
